Hi - I just found this board (I'm usually on the july playroom one). I have almost 3 year old twins. They were born at 34w5d at 4lbs (dd) and 5lbs (ds).
My question is when do you look at FTT. DS is only 26lbs as an almost 3yo. He hasn't varied much in his growth curve (slight dip here and there) but is so skinny that I can link my fingers around his waist. I took him in for a weight check last month (doc doesnt do next well baby until 3.5years) and he said he was good but I'm still concerned.
He is now freaking me out more by going through a phase where he doesn't want to eat. I don't force the issue but its got me worried.
DD is now 28lbs and she eats well. I know girls usually do better than boys so her I'm not really worried about yet.
Would you ask for a second opinion? BTW I love our ped. so its not a personality conflict.
