For the Wives in Waiting
Though I kiss your lips good bye
I draw a breath in with a long sigh
Trying not to cry
I know it's going to be a while before we meet again
If I could send something out to sea
Can you guess what it would be?
Something you treasure, my heart, my love, a piece of me
Their brave military men have gone off to their call of duty
Only those that are in, can really fathom, imagine, feel and see
It's not them alone that makes them able to come back in one piece
It's the love that rolls, rips, follows them out to ocean
Their other half of their hearts that are waiting, brings them home safely
Good bye for now my darling but remember when you see
The sun that melts down to the water as it rises faithfully
The two at once meet every day and every night
Just as they touch, remember my love the way home, my love your guiding light
my situation is kinda complicated, since i had some abnormal bleeding when i expected my period (which was 10 days ago)
