Sorry in advance for typing so much. To my own eyes it looks like a positive. Maybe I am seeing things? I have never gotten no one elses opinion and I came stumbling upon this thread & wanted to give it a try. I would greatly appericiate to know what others think this may be. Thanks in advance for helping me out.

I had blood work done the afternoon of the 10th and it came back as 81% and I had to go back in for more blood work because they said they weren't for sure, To me I don't see how they couldn't of been. I went in the afternoon of the 17th and the results on that blood work was 15%. Because of the 15% on that blood work they want me back in this week thursday for more blood work. I had similar problems when I was pregnant with my son. I have tried to explain this to my doctor but it seems to not be getting no where. I am really tired of getting my blood taken & would like to know already wheather I am pregnant or not. I had an appointment scheduled this week with the doctor I go see for my pregnancy and the family doctor told me to cancel it until they know an answer from this blood work. Its getting to aggravate me a bit though. Cause I mean if I am I want to get in to the doctors.

See and they look positive to my own eyes too. I just dont understand why they're making me do all this blood work. I feel at times i'm getting the run around.

With that said, your family doc probably just wants to make sure its a "viable" pregnancy, meaning that its not going to end in m/c before you see the OB. I know lots of people talk about getting to the doc early during pg. But where I live they WON'T see you until you're 10-12 wks. They see it as a waste of their time and yours and a waste of insurance $$$ since 50% of pgs end in m/c, most of which being chemical pgs (in which most women don't even know they're pg, and get their period a few days late.)

I'm sure its frustrating getting your blood taken and everything......he just wants to check your hormone levels and make sure they're doubling. I wouldn't worry too much about it, and if you prefer, you can probably set up an appt with your ob to schedule and evaluate the tests etc. Best wishes and congrats!!
