Hi all! I'm Sharon, and new to this board, but not new at ttc I found out day before Christmas eve that I am expecting I have my first prenatal apt next week at 8 weeks, and so far so good. I have a question about the darkness of hpt's. I've looked all over the net and have read many forums on this I have read both things, that it could mean not a viable pregnancy, but also that not everyone's gets that dark, and that some people have more diluted urine then others. But anyways..... My question is does everyone's hpt get darker then the control line? Mine never did, very close to the same color, and way thicker then the control line but has not gotten darker then it. I know you can not tell anything by that, but I was just curious why mine hasn't, and alot of other ladies have darker then the control line by 16 or 17 dpo. So if you have gotten a positive, and continued poas (such a bad habit isn't it? lol) after your initial bfp did yours get darker then the control? Thanks in advance

With my daughter mine never did and the pregnancy went just fine. I also stoped testing after I got the confirmation from the Dr. (which was about at 5 weeks). I would'nt worry about it

None of mine(all 4)got darker than the control line.We all are just fine.
