It is about 7-8 weeks since my LMP. My cycles have been a bit irregular, so I didn't think much of it. Since it has been so long, I decided to take a HPT. The last possible time I could have conceived was about 5.5 weeks ago. I used the Clearblue +/- test, and the results were a bit ambiguous. There was a very dark control line, and the testing window shows a strong negative sign (looks like several dashed blue lines very close together) and one very skinny, very faint bluish line in the positive direction. It is about the thickness of one hair. The pictures of positives in the package insert all look much thicker, even if they show some that are light. If I were pregnant, wouldn't the positive be fairly strong by now? As it is, I don't think you could really even see the positive line on the test unless the lighting is good.
I have not really had any symptoms of pregnancy (not especially tired or anything). Wish I could take a picture, but I don't have a camera handy. I keep hearing that any line is a positive, but any guidance or advice would be very much appreciated! I will of course take another test tomorrow, but I am really confused by this.
