Ok, so I'm 37 years old. I have a 13 year old and an 11 year old. My husband and I recall a definite night of lack of safe sex control within the past month. I'm only 3 or 4 days late with my period, but I have been unbelievably exhausted, daily headaches and actually craved (ultimately had to get) a Dairy Queen Mister Misty yesterday (haven't had one in years)!!! All this lead me straight to Wal-mart where I bought a 2 pack First Response Gold Digital Pregnancy Test box. BOTH tests clearly and quickly said YES+ ... is it safe to say I'm pregnant or has anyone had 2 positives only to find out you're not pregnant?

its hard to get a positive on a digital, so i would say you are probably pregnant! How about getting a non digital test and making a dr appt to confirm?

Well, I just scheduled an appt. with an OB Dr. I'm excited, but nervous about my age and the risk factors. I think I will go buy another test of a different brand just to be sure. Mommy2Josiah ... thanks for the congrats! Congratulations to you too!!! Is this your first?

The digital's are usually pretty accurate! Congrats to you! That's a big age gap but I'm sure your kids will be really excited!

Thank you ladies! I appreciate all the feedback, as well as the congratulations! We are getting excited, though still kind of in shock. Now I'm just praying for a healthy pregnancy and baby. I'll keep you posted.

Congratulations! I totally know what you mean. I'll be 40 before I'm full term and I'm really nervous about all that might go wrong. I just loaded up with literature this weekend and the stuff I'm reading helps me feel better.
I hope you have a wonderful, healthy pregnancy!
PS. I had to take five tests before I would believe it.
