how many minutes after the test did you see the line? My first test was an equate and the line was very faint, you can see it in the last post in this thread:

to me it looks like a positive, get another test and do it with the first morning urine. good luck!!

Thank you all for you replies. My AF is due tomorrow and I have had some slight cramping but none of the pms sore bbs or moodiness that I usually get so if she doesn't show up tomorrow I may wait a couple of days and test again. I thought for sure I started this morning. I had some light AF like cramps followed by an extreme wetness feeling down there, so I came home ready to get a tampon only to find my undies pretty wet with clear liquid. It was strange, that hasn't ever really happened to me with the amount of liquid that was there ever before that I can remember. I guess I will just have to wait and see. Other than the no pms the only pregnancy like symptoms i really have right now is the extreme fatigue and increased need to pee lol

That's actually kind of a mystery to me. I poas a little after 8pm after holding my urine for almost 3 hours, then thought what I had was a negative result after 5 mins so I just put it away and considered it negative. When I looked at it again a bit later that night, probly around 9:30pm or so it looked like that. I checked the box and it said not to check the test after 10 minutes, but there were the 5 minutes in between putting it away and the 10 minute mark so I don't know when exactly the line came up (silly me, i know! putting the test away with a whole five minutes left in the time frame!).

I tested in the morning the next day around 6:30am (i peed in a cup and dipped the stick) because I wanted to know so bad and it had no hint of a test line whatsoever, not even an evap now, and that was 2 days ago. The tests were the same brand from the same box of three even. I have one of those tests left.

After I tested that morning I saw that the insert from the box said not to use with alcohol. Can that affect the results? Like make the urine more diluted? I did have a couple of glasses of wine the night before the morning test after I thought I had a negative and when I tested with the morning one, my urine was a yellowish color, but quite clear. So I dunno??

ignore that test. It was too long after you tested. Test again first thing in the morning and don't look at it after the cut off time period otherwise it could just be an evap line.

I took one of the early-pregnancy-tests- the test strips.. on 14dpo and 15 dpo (today). Both days show a faint pink line...does that mean its positive, or does it need to be darker (closer in color to the control line)?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

any PINK line usually means positive as long as it is within the first 10 minutes that it showed. Do you have a pic?
