i took this HPT it showed a strong purple line, and another very faint purple line. but i was sure it's purple! but then i was researching on the internet to get some answers and i found some cases of evaporation line. are evap lines supposed to have color????i'm not yet delayed, i'ts still four days before my period, but im feeling extra tired and sleepy.that's why i took the test.i don't wanna get my hopes up neither my husband's. but i just hope its postive!!!! what do yu say guys???

Most ladies are very cautious of blue dye and purple dye tests because of the nasty evaps. Followup with a first response to validate it.

Well the ladies on here have told me that if the line has color to it then it is positive and they also say a line is a line no matter how faint it is and I agree with that because with both of my pregnancies the line was so light you could hardly see it. If you were using a Blue dye test I would tell you to retest with a pink or purple dye test because the blue dye tests gave me a false positive. Can you post a picture of your test on here so we can see it? I would be able to offer you more help if I could see a picture of the test. I hope that the test is a BFP

Sounds like a BFP but I would take another test just to make sure. Let us know.
