I went to the doctor today and it was great. I have to test before I take any provera to start my period. So I picked up a test and an OPK...I decided not to even test until the morning until I got the + OPk. I think OPKs are + when pregnant.
So I got another faint line on the $ test. What the heck? Yesterday I had a - on an Answer test.
So yeah I am very confused right now. I have been getting these faint lines since the 3rd. I got what I thought was an evap on FRER.

This was take on the third along with the next test
Would this not bother anyone? i mean I am going nuts!!
Here is my OPK

Dollar store tests almost always have a line, even if a women isn't pregnant. I do see lines on everything, so I would definetly keep testing until you know for sure. If you are preggo, then the lines should get darker daily. Best Wishes!

Can you get a blood test from the Dr? $Tree tests have been giving me faint (I think they are evap lines) But I got a - on a Answer test.

I really hate to say this but I've gone through this just this month. I was using the dollar tests (new choice) and I got the same lines as you. I also used Answer (test 5 days before expected af) and got a very, very faint line. Probably an evap, then I went to the doc to confirm what I thought was a pregnancy but it came back a negative. I didn't get blood-work done though. When I got home I got another dollar test and again that same freaking line. I got clearblue, same as the answer test, expected af, and it came up negative. I tested 3x with clearblue and they all came back negative.
I just don't trust the dollar tests anymore. And the fact you used another brand and it came back negative sounds just like me. ...

I'm sorry that you went through all that Christina. This TTC crap is really frustrating. I wish there was some other option aside from hpts. They really are not error proof at all. I am really assuming they are all evaps at this point, so I will be okay either way...at least I got a + OPK...that means a lot to me since I wasn't even sure that I ovulate.
I think I have had so much disappointment that this just feels exactly like last cycle and the one before...I am used to the confusion. lol
I hope we get our BFPs soon!!

Have you tried an FRER? With my last pregnancy I got negatives with Answer and positives with FRER and Equate.
Good Luck!

Yes, ttc is extremely hard. When dh and I tried before I got pregnant with dd1 it was so hard. We got pregnant only 2x before we got pregnant with her but they resulted in early miscarriages but all the other times we had unprotected sex I didn't get pregnant. I even bought opk's and it would say I was ovulating. I loved seeing 2 lines on them things even though they were just opk's and not hpt's lol. I remember telling him "I can't wait to see this on a pregnancy test instead!"...well we had sex that day and throughout the entire time I was ovulating because I bought a box full of them and I never got pregnant. So, I don't even deal with opk's or charting. I just pay more attention to my body and that's hard enough because my cycles are so irregular.
I hope we both get bfp's soon because then all of this ttc crap will end and we won't have to worry anymore. I bet half the time we're all just forcing ourselves to hop into bed and it's just not good.

I think you're pregnant and should request a blood test. Not to get your hopes up but my cousin didn't get a clear BFP until she was 6 weeks along. Maybe you O'd later than you think?

That's okay Mommy 2oo6. I have a little hope already and don't think any more will hurt me. I still have a + OPK to be thankful for.
Christina, I totally agree with forced BDing. That is sucky, and I am guilty of doing that sometimes. But I did that even before all this anyhow. When I was on the pill, I never seemed to want to but did it anyway out of guilt. I always ended up enjoying myself once we DTD though, so it's okay.
I am not an OPK user either. I bought one test randomly. I was just on the phone with my nurse and she had no ideal what I was talking about with the OPK..she said it wouldn't detect pregnancy. haha
She wants me to go in and get a blood test today, so I will know the results of that tomorrow.

Thanks Amanda C!! I have high hopes. I think I may even test again after the blood test...the POAS addict that I am just can't resist it. lol
I was thinking about a digital but I'm not so sure about it yet. I don't know how sensitive they are and with such light lines it may not show on one. Who knows. They have a pack of 5 digitals at Walmart for like $20 and they are clear blue, so I may just buy those.

Here's the best pic I have of today's test. I had to darken it to make the line appear best.
