Hi! My name is Jennifer (Herpersmama because ds is a reptile/amphibian fanatic). I recently joined JM, and I think it's fabulous here! I have posted and lurked in the Recurrent MC/Loss area and other various places, but I would like to join you ladies here TTCAL too.

I just had my 4th loss in 02/08, at roughly 8 1/2 wks. The others were always around the 5-6 wk mark and were in: spring of 98 (can't remember exact month), 06/99, 12/07, and then this most recent. I see a peri, due to recurrent loss, and was given the go-ahead after a normal cycle. So here I am again, TTC. I am currently CD6 today, and can't wait till next week which should be O time.

In between the losses, I did conceive and carry my ds to term. He just turned 7 in January. I have patiently waited for the right time to ttc again, after finishing my degree, being stable at home and work, etc. I'm hopeful that the adage, "Third time's a charm" will hold true for us this time around.

I have had various tests run, however since my m/c were never 3 in a row and even the peri doesn't see the need to do anything other than just the basics. Just bad luck, according to everyone. I don't hold that opinion, four (no matter if they were back to back or not) says to me that something is just not quite right. As of this moment we haven't figured it out yet though, so I'm ttc naturally for the time being, and if we have another loss then my peri is willing to talk about some more help (i.e. meds, more tests, etc).

So, I think that's about it. It's lovely to make your acquaintances’!

hi, im really sorry about your losses, i had one recently at the beginning of march i cant wait for this month to end so i dont feel so bad anymore. i had some test run for which i will get the results tomorrow. i explained to my doc that there was no way on God great green earth that i am going to wait to have a few m/c in a row before they do test plus its my money so they ran tests. he agreed with me to and said that it was stupid that they would make someone wait to test... so im glad i did it. i did thyroid, blood clotting and hcg on sat. going back for progest after i O. i dont need to do FSH test coz i we know i O as i got preg. soo its just waiting time... im waiting to O... CD27 and STILL WAITING HELLO??? anyway

Hi Jennifer!

I am so sorry for your recurrent losses. I have only had 1 and that is more than enough for me! I can't even begin to imagine what you have been through...

I hope you stick around and TTC with us--we have a great group of women here! I look forward to getting to know you!

Aww, thank you all for your wonderful welcomes!! You're all so sweet, I can't wait to get to know you better as we ttc together! It will be so nice to ttc with ladies that understand the whole m/c issue.

By the way.... I love all of your siggys, photos, etc! It's so fun!! I'm going to have to learn to do that!

Have a wonderful day, and thanks again for all the welcomes!
