So today I "guess" I am on CD 13. I should be ovulating tomorrow. Well I've been peeing on these silly little sticks since CD5 just for kicks and giggles. Well I have lines all over the dang place. Can they just be wrong sometimes? I feel like I am sooooo ovulating. I've got the cramps I've been dizzy and I am finally having some normal CM, for ovulation that is. Has anyone else had OPK's not predict O time correctly? This is my first time. Any suggestions?

I have a hard time with OPK's. Sometimes I think they miss the surge. Like if you surge in the evening, it's not going to show up in the morning. Plus, I just think that some brands are less or more responsive. I have never gotten a positive with clearblue easy. I avoid that brand like the plaque. Might work for someone else, but not for me.

This is my first time using them. I started right after my loss to watch to make sure that all of the HCG was leaving my system. I have yet to get the darker than the control line one. I read somewhere that if you think it is missing your surge to do one in the mid morning and one in the evening. Sometimes the surge is only 12hours, not 24. I hope that helps Oh, and im using the "answer" brand.

Are you using the mid-stream or dip?

You could have just missed the surge. Especially if they are midstream. I have had really bad luck with those.

I have the opposite problem I see a surge forever! Like 7 days! UGH....talk about wacko
