Hi, I NEVER thought I'd be posting on this board, but here I am. I just really would love to hear from anyone with a similar experience. I have one daughter who is 20 months old. She was conceived on the first try. Started trying to conceive again in Feb of this year and conceived right away but miscarried about a week later. No problems with the miscarriage it was so early that it was just like a period. Doc said to go ahead and try again this month. Conceived again and miscarried again...knew I was preggo for about 10 days this time. I haven't seen the doc yet this time so I don't know what advice I'll get there. I have no idea what could be going on.......just wondering if this situation sounds familiar to anyone and what the outcome was????

thanks for reading,
Kelly

Hello and welcome Kelly, I am so sorry for your losses.

My experience was not the same at all so I can't offer you much there. There are ladies here that have had back to back losses and may be able to offer you more insight.

I just wanted to welcome you and say I'm sorry for your loss. I haven't suffered two back to back so I'm not sure. I definitely say talk to your dr and see if they can do some tests to see what's going on. I look forward to getting to know you. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask.

Hi Kelly- First and foremost I am so sorry for your losses. This type of loss is such a horrible thing to experience, especially if it's over and over again. I have only experienced one loss, it was in my second trimester, so I am not too familiar with your situation. I'm sorry that I can't be of more service to you. Just know that you've come to the right place. Everyone on this board is AWSOME! The ladies here are truly here to listen and will become a circle of close friends. Again welcome and I'm so glad that you've joined us. I hope you can try to find some peace at this very hard time. Take Care.

Hi Kelly, I am sorry that you lost your little ones. I guess I am pretty similiar to you but unfortunately I won't be able to tell you why, just what I am doing with my docs advice. I too had an uneventful first pregnancy with my son. He is turning 2 tomorrow. Anyway, I got pregnant in August and had my first m/c in September. I didn't know why, couldn't understand it but everyone said don't worry, m/c are common and you shouldn't have problems the second time. We tried again for few months and ended up getting pregnant again in December. It was like dejavu (sp?) The m/c were so similiar. Blighted ovum. We never hear a heatbeat with the 2nd m/c either. Then I got pregnant by accident before my first period again in February but I was only able to celebrate for a week because I found out on our 9 year anniversary that we lost our 3rd child (chemical pregnancy). I think that one was because I never had a lot of bleeding with the m/c's but I tell you that after the 3rd m/c my bleeding was the heaviest I ever had. I think I cleaned out a lot of built up lining in my uterus. Anyway, we were not trying as I have not had my first period post 3rd m/c but when I found out that I ovulated later than I had thought we decided to go for it and here I am, pregnant again. So, after the 3rd m/c but before this pregnancy I had a bunch of tests done and they all came back normal. My thyroid was checked, fasting blood sugar, complete blood count, tested for clotting disorders and prolactin. I think that is it. Next month I was supposed to have TSH and FSH bloodwork done and after that I was supposed to have a procedure where they check for fibroids in your uterus. Before I got pregnant my doc had me taking a low dose asprin daily and my vitamins with 1MG of folic. Once I got pregant they check my progesterone and because it is low I am now taking prometium. I am also on ethromyocyn (sp?) which is an antibiotic that is supposed to clear any bacterial infections that could exist in the vagina & uterus. That is a precautionary thing and I hate taking it but the doc says it is completely safe and I would rather be safe than sorry. She also upped my folic to 5mg a day.

I would just recommend to start you blood work testing and see if it all comes back as normal. The ladies here are very informative and are a great shoulder to lean on. I hope you decide to stick around and that you get a fast and sticky bean very soon.
