Girls I need your help. For some of you that dont know, I recently left my husband. I thought I o'd about 12 days ago and I have been poas every other day. So then this morning, since I am staying with a friend, I poas, looked at it and then carried the evidence back into my room. Set it down and jumped on JM, so now its been about 1/2 hour and I was like oh crap I should have looked at my test 20 minutes ago. Guess what, there is a second line. It is a $ store test though. So I don't know what to believe right now, does the evaps usually show up right away. This one is really pink though. I wish I could take a pic, but I am using my friends laptop.
So I am freaking out here because I have been taking medicine for this cold that I got for the past 4 days and now I am going to freak out. I also had a couple drinks the other night and felt drunk as ever after the first one. If I am pregnant I am going to freak out. Wouldn't it figure that the one month I have the longest cycle and think that I am not even o'ing is the month that I get pregnant.
Ok so my questions are....when do evap lines normally appear? I have had them happen several hours later but never within an hour.
My other question is how long should I hold it before I use the digitial or should I just wait and use the digital with fmu? Because the line is not real dark or anything, but I am sure it would show up in a pic.
Third question, is how much problems may I have caused by taking this medicine or the couple of drinks that I had?

Well unfortunately I'm not sure on any of these questions, but I just wanted to let you know that with my first son I had NO IDEA that I was pregnant and was drinking a LOT at that time, at least daily, just being a stupid 23 y/o girl. I didn't find out I was pregnant with him until I was almost 7 weeks and he turned out beautifully! So I wouldn't worry too much about the drinks or the meds. Just don't do it again until you know for sure. I would retest in the AM with fresh urine, just because that is suppose to be the most potent. Did you BD around your O time? Good luck dear, KUP.

Rhonda... sweetie.... relax
Umm the cold medicine and a couple drinks will be okay. I am sure once you see your doc they will say the same thing. My Digi showed pregnant at 9dpo and wasn't FMU. I say hold it as long as you can and make sure your pee looks yellow not pale.... and start peeing girl!
You know we will be here for you no matter what right?
and about splitting up.... I don't think I knew that but being a single mom isn't all that bad if you chose that route You got US!

Don't get all freaked out! I don't know much about evaps, but I apperantly got one a few days ago. However mine was not very noticable, pictures couldn't pic it up. I agree to hold your pee or just wait until morning.

Oh thank you so much for putting me at ease a little. Its just funny how for the past year I have been so good about not drinking or taking anything in the 2ww and then after leaving my husband I thought well we haven't got pregnant in a year why would it happen now on a 57day cycle.
I have to be honest though I have never seen an evap line this dark before and I have never seen it show up that quickly. Looks like I will be going out to buy me a frer. One for later on tonight and one for fmu. And I still have one digital test left too.
Its only been 1 1/2 hours now, so looks like I will have to try to hold it for another couple of hours at least before I poas. Makes me wish I had my opk's too. lol
We did bd when I think I o'd. I wasn't temping or really using opk's very good this month since dh and I were having so many issues.
For some reason I really think this is it though. I have so many of the symptoms, but I know I have been fooled before.
I will be sure to let you girls know what happens when I test again.
Thanks

I'm sorry about your separation - this must be a really stressful time for you. Even if the test is a bfp, I wouldn't worry about the cpld meds or the drinks and I'm sure your dr would say the same thing.

Rhonda, calm down. I don't think the drinking or the cold meds will hurt a think. I'm sorry, I didn't know you left your dh, but if you're happy then so are we. We will be here for you no matter what. Please let us know what the next test says. Oh, I so hope you are pg. We love you

Well I am trying to hold it for another hour or more. Its already been 3 hours and I am dying to go again, but I know it was that faint with holding it all night, so I am afraid it won't be there now. I went and got FRER and my digi is on hand in case I see something on the frer. I told dh about it and he is waiting with me until I can poas. We are actually having dinner together tonight with my parents, so this should be interesting. I will share the results as soon as I get them. Thank you all for your support.
I think I will be a little upset if it was an evap, but then again timing isn't the greatest either. Normally all of the evaps I had you girls couldn't even see on my pics, so I guess now I just WAIT some more...grrr so frustrating.
