My husband said he'd be home "8ish" It's 8:30. He's not answering his phone. I waited to make dinner so he could have it warm. I'm hungry, and I'm tired, and Erin's been asleep for the past hour and a half which means when she wakes up she's going to STAY awake for a long time.
And while making dinner I cut the tip of my finger off with my kitchen shears while cutting up chicken.
GAH!
Okay, thanks for letting me get it out.

ARG! I am sorry your night didn't go as planned. I hope your finger is okay? I hate cuts and burns. I am a BIG baby.
Do you have wine? A glass may be in order tonight

Grr I definatly understand how that goes. DH is 24 and refuses to have me "act like his mom" half the time he wont tell me when he will be home because he says im controlling him. Its like "come on, youre getting older!! act like it!!" Sorry ur hubby isnt home yet. I agree with Bobbie id have a glass or two.

I may just make DH stay up with her tonight. After the night we had last night I'm about to crash right now.

He just called back. He works for the geology dept. on campus, and they're putting up a new 150 gallon saltwater reef tank, and they had to a water change (only half the water, but that's still 75 gallons!), and they're filling it up now. He'll be home as soon as that's done. His phone was in the other room on silent (because he forgot to turn it back on after class), and we went in there to get something and saw he had a voicemail and called me back.
Oh, and there's also not a clock in the museum where the tank is.
*sigh* hopefully he'll be home soon.

Don't you hate it when you get all nice and ticked off at them for not calling and then they have a great excuse? Gah. Then you feel like you aren't allowed to be mad!
Hope he gets home soon.
