I'm not a poster on this board, and I've already posted this in a few boards on JM. I hope that isn't a problem. I'm just freaking out a little bit, and I thought maybe you ladies could help me make sense of all of this.
I started hurting pretty badly a little while ago. It feels as though someone is literally squeezing my pelvis. I assumed this meant that AF was on her way.
I went to the bathroom a few minutes ago, and when I wiped there was bright red, crayon red, blood mixed with tons and tons of clear CM.
I just checked again a few minutes ago, and the bright red blood is still there (not a whole lot of it), but now it is mixed with a couple of very tiny dark clots.
This is probably going to sound really stupid, but is this normal? Is this something to do with the Clomid, or is something wrong?
I realize that everyone is different, and I know that I haven't had as many periods as a 'normal' woman should (very irregular cycles), but in all of the 15 years I've had them, it's never been bright red in the beginning. NEVER. It always starts out with brown spotting for a day, and slowly transitions to red. And why is it mixed with so much CM??
I do normally have a few cramps, but this really feels like someone, or something, is squeezing my pelvis, in a very firm way. It's even affecting my lower back. It's extremely uncomfortable, and quite painful at times.
So, is this something that I shouldn't worry about even though it's never happened to me before?
The thing that really concerns me about it is that I had what appeared to be a BFP on a FRER on the 3rd (10DPO). (It was so very light that DH and I weren't 100% sure.) I waited and tested again yesterday and it was BFN, so DH and I assumed it was probably an evap. Could this bright red blood be a miscarriage and maybe the BFP wasn't an evap after all? Wouldn't I have started to bleed before today if it was?
What would you do if you were me? Am I over-reacting? Should I call my doctor or wait a few days and see what happens first? If this is a miscarriage, could my doctor even confirm it, since I wouldn't be but a few weeks along? I'm very sorry to bother you ladies with this, but I'm just freaking out a little bit.
Thanks in advance!

Hi... I am glad you found us over here
Honestly, I would probably head to the ER or afterhours if it hurts that bad. It does sound like a m/c to me. I know that probably isn't what you want to hear
Plus there is always the slight chance that you are one of the women who don't show HCG on urine tests. A blood test would show the HCG. At least then you would know for sure. If you wait there would be no chance of confirming pregnancy (that I know of). I guess it depends how much that would matter to you. For me I need the validation of the blood test so my doctors don't think I am wacko for *thinking* I am always pregnant. If that makes sense?
I hope this was just wacky AF and not a m/c. Sending LOTS of
 your way.

Thank you very much for your help.
Honestly, it's not that it hurts that bad, but it is much worse than my normal cramping, etc. It's more very uncomfortable than painful, though it is a little painful.
I do understand what you mean about the validation though. Sometimes doctors don't take their patients seriously enough.
Again, thank you very much for your help. At least I know I am not crazy in thinking that this is abnormal.

I'm guessing it is a misscarriage. I got a faint positive at 10 DPO, BFP on 11 DPO, and faint again at 13 DPO, and a BFN at 14 DPO, Started spotting @ day 15 and bleeding on day 16.
My doctors couldn't do anything for me, but I had to include them because I have a Negative blood type and my DH has a positive blood type and I needed a shot of Rhogam. I was given the go ahead to TTC this cycle.

Hi Tracie, I don't think you are overreacting at all. We all need to know what is going on with our bodies and it does sound abnormal for your typical cycle. I agree that you should go in to the doctor for bloodwork. They may have a chance to catching the hcg numbers if they are still in your system. I hope you can find answers soon. HUGS

i hope it's nothing, but it could be an early m/c. maybe your positive was catching the last of the hcg before it left your system before you started bleeding. that's why you got a bfn later. i would see the dr to make sure, but they might not be able to tell anything if all the hcg is gone. that happened to me very early, where i'm not even sure if it was just a very late period, or if it was a m/c. i had 2 bfp on digi tests, and was a week late. then after bleeding bright red, (no brown spotting like i usually have) my hcg blood test showed nothing. good luck, maybe it's just a wacky period.
