I was talking to Dh the other night and I said AF had showed up, and he was like "already?" and I said yeah. I had already told him I had gotten a BFN. So he thinks and then says, "So wait, you just tested. So how far in advance do these tests work before you period? Like what, 4 days?" And I said "Yeah, maybe 4 days, tops."

And he's like "What! Well, what is the point?! Why spend money on tests? You can just WAIT for your period to show up!" Like he just NOW realized this after MONTHS of TTC.

I told him I didn't pay for tests anyway, so who cares. Between the free ones I get from work and the ones I got from Bobbie, I am set for months. I do have a FRER and a couple digis that I shelled out money for, but, hey, everyone needs a hobby, right? Well, mine is TTC.

oh dear, he sounds like mine. 2 months ago when i got my bfp, he was asking about how long after you're late do hpt work. i was like um, they work 5 days before your af is due! and he had no idea.
