So I had my 1st u/s today. We haven't told anyone, not even the kids, and weren't planning to until I reach the 2nd trimester. The OB group I go to is rather popular so I always sweat running into someone... Sure enough, I had just sat down in the waiting room today when my brother-in-law walks in. We both just got this weird kind of look, then I asked him what he was doing here (j/k obviously) and he said he was with my sister, and asked me the same thing. My sister poked her head out and we all started laughing. Turns out she had her 1st u/s today too, and they weren't telling anyone either. She just m/c back in October.

The nurses were cracking up b/c they couldn't believe the coincidence of having out appts on the same day at the same time without either of us knowing. Her due date is about 3wks before mine... Won't Grandma be surprised when she finds out. We all swore each other to secrecy until were ready to tell on our own.

Other than that, the baby is looking good - nice hb @ 174 bpm and measuring 8w6d... Oh, and only one - thank goodness.

I think she means off by 4 days, not weeks, since you said that the baby measured at 8w6d and your ticker says 8w2d.
