i just read the thread about someone finding their cervix... i have yet to find it, but that's cuz i've never looked for it
so, what's the deal w/ checking it? can someone explain to me how to look for it, and how to tell what it's doing?

To be entirely honest with you, I had no clue where my cervix was, until I found it tonight!

Ummm...as for looking for it....just...ummmm...stick a finger up and feel around! You'll feel something that has a weird shape to it, feels almost like Jell-O. And (TMI!!!!) it has a little slit like opening as well.

That's how I knew what it was!!!

ok, i'm too lazy to check today hahah, but what is it supposed to tell you? i've seen people say it's high, low, etc.
oh and everything in there has a weird shape. i can't tell what's what in there.

I'm not sure what else to say.......I just reached up and knew that it was my cervix.

Once you find it, and you check it few tims youll learn to recognise if it is high up inside or low and somewhat close to the entrance of your vagina. If it is high, soft and open, you are ovulating, if it is low and hard and closed then you are prolly very near AF. if it is somewhere in the middle then you check the next day and see if it moved up or down. hope that helps

I always find it by flipping off Aunt Flo. I put my middle finger up there and feel around. It'll feel like cartilege, think, your nose, with a slit there, and sometime likes 2 nostrils.
