OMG....I don't know what to do. Part of me wants to say something. Another part doesn't.
I'm in tears , it hurts so much. cry.gif
So this girl I knew from back home, commented on my pic of Ottie on facebook. She said this and I quote "I'm so jealous!! He's adorable!! haha BUT I do get a baby, so I can't complain!! haha"
Isn't that just mean????
I wanna write her back and say that was rude, we've been trying to have a baby for over a year with no luck and a loss too. (Not to mention she got prego accidentally, not trying while on the pill!!!!) Grrrrrrrrrr this just pisses me off and hurts soooo much.

That is the most horrible thing to say to someone who's been trying as long as you. She is NOT a friend. You are too sweet to be treated like that. I hope the Femera helps give you your sticky bean this month, honey!

What a jerk! I'm sorry that she said that. She clearly doesn't have any tact or know what FEELINGS are.

I can't believe she would say something like that! Does she know that you've been trying for so long? Does she know that you've had a miscarriage?
If she doesn't maybe she thinks that you don't want a baby yet and therefore thinks she's funny? Because if she knows and she said that...that's just horrible.

Jerk is not the wor i'd have used. Mine starts with a B!!! Totally tasteless. The funny part is that if she is SOO HAPPY then why does she have to make rude remarks like that? I think she is overcompensating.. Dont listen to her, that comment doesnt even merrit a response.

I was thinking that too. It sounds like she's thinking of the baby as the consolation prize for the puppy.
I'm sorry that you had to deal with that. I agree, it doesn't merit a response.

Thanks ladies! That's what DH says, so I'm not responding. (She actually doesn't know we're TTC or had a miscarriage, which I guess I can understand her comment.) BUt i know when I'm prego I would NEVER say something like that. I'd be happy to finalyl be pregnant after what we've been through, but I would never be rude and a b-word Thanks ladies you def. cheered me up1

I'm so sorry that she made those comments.
I hope she didn't intend to hurt you considering she does not know the situation.

Lindsey... I think part of it is you act so mature for your age. She probably hasn't *grown up* yet. You are above all that
If she didn't know you have been TTC and about the m/c I wouldn't see it as her being mean, but just being dumb But it still hurts...

I think that what she said was REALLY rude and shows how cruel and immature of a person she is!
I wouldn't say anything... what goes around comes around...

I bought baby gifts for my grad friends from the TTC #1 board who just found out their babies gender (I'd post the pics but I'm afraid they'd see )
But here's what I got for me
Everything I bought was like 75% on clearance too. Baby clothes make me happy They are just too cute! Almost as good as having the baby in them. I know one day we'll have a baby to wear them.
I'm obsessed with those cute baby sleeper gowns
and I found these cute onesies that we may give my parents when we get a BFP
and then I got this cute nightgown for me (i'm obessed with women's nightgowns too)

Those are so cute!! I can't wait until you get a baby to put in those!
And that nightgown is adorable. Just what you need when TTC!

OMG! I love the little grandma/grandpa onesies! And your pink nightie... ADORABLE!!
Isn't it ridiculous how people just don't THINK before they SPEAK (or type)?
I'm sorry you had to deal with that.
What a dumb girl to have said something so tactless.

I l-o-v-e the onesies! that is an AWESOME idea for giving them the great news!
And I agree with Britt...the gown is def a good item to have handy for all that BDing
