I started my first round of Clomid ever in January. Before that, I hadn't had my period in a record 13 months. I did miscarry in September, but I don't really count that as a "period" as in a real cycle. It still baffles me how I got pregnant without having a period in over half a year. Well, anyways, I digress.

In February (on Valentines Day no less) I was supposed to start my second round, since V-day was my 5th Cycle Day after a belated AF. Well, I didn't get to start the fertility because that night I was in a car accident and my husband I decided it was probably for the better to wait it out since I had smashed myself up pretty bad and were unsure of how things were going to go.

Go figures, my body decided to be a butt-head. It was until three days ago that I finally had another AF. I was waiting, and waiting, it's been very frustrating. Yesterday I pretty much told a good friend of mine that I was giving up on actively trying to conceive. That is, my husband and I were still going to go "unprotected" but that we weren't going to actively try with fertility and the like. The whole counting days, getting my hopes up... etc. And while my husband hasn't been against conceiving he hasn't been really vocally supportive in stating that was what he really wanted. And despite how much I want to, if his heart isn't in it mine can't be, y'know?

For the past week I've had a horrible stomach flu, and been very laid out. Especially with the whole having my AF again since V-Day and having it hit me full on without Midol. But I was floored when I curled up next to him in bed to hear my hubby tell me he wanted me to continue with Clomid. He wasn't all bubbly, but hey he's a guy, what more can I ask? So I'm happy, and I decided tomorrow I will in fact, give it a shot. At least, one more anyways. =)
