Well, I sat down and told DH today that I was really hurt that we never named our beans. I told him that he could either help or not, but that I was going to name them. He sat down with me and we named all three of our baby beans. While all three were too early for me to know for sure if they were boys or girls, I went with my gut feeling with each. I have always referred to the first two losses as boys and the third as a girl, so we named them:
Alexander Maxwell EDD June 28th, 2007 grew his wings on October 10th 2006.
Garrett Carmicheal EDD January 21st, 2008 grew his wings on May 9th, 2007.
Norma Marie EDD April 14th, 2008 grew her wings on August 7, 2007.
I feel alot better now that my babies have names. It still hurts INCREDIBLY BAD of course, but giving them names....IDK, it just helped alot.

I'm glad to hear you and DH named your Angels! I found for me, it helped a lot during my healing process. It still helps so much to be able to call my Angel by his name.
The names you have chosen are beautiful!!!!
Are you and DH going to be doing anything for Norma Marie's EDD?

That is wonderful that doing that made you feel so much better. I know what you mean, it did the same for me. I felt a lot that my pregnancies were not recognized, and naming them was my way of recognizing my sweet angels. Great names, by the way!

I think I am going to go look about getting some sort of flowering bush or something to plant in the yard so that I can watch it grow. I've seen other ladies do that. I want something that will be somewhat easy to move if we end up not buying this houst though. I might just get a great big pot or something. IDK. I want to make some sort of memorial for all of my angels though.
Each one of the names was somehow very important to us too. Alexander Maxwell was one that DH was determined that he wanted to use one day, and the minute I told him I was naming our angels with or without him he said he wanted to use that. Garrett Carmicheal is a slightly altered name.....Gary is a VERY popular name in my family. My Grandfather, my brother, 3 uncles and 2 cousins are all named Gary. 1 of those Uncles passed away on Valentines Day in 2006. He was my godfather, and we were very close. I wanted to do something to honor him, as well as the other Gary's, but wanted it to be just a little different. My father passed away in January of2007 and his middle name was Micheal. I knew I might want to use that later on though so DH suggested Carmicheal. And then my little angel girl. Norma Marie is after my mom's grandmothers. One is still living, and the glue that holds a very large family together. She's Norma. Marie was my Granny's name, and she passed away in 2005. Both of them were so very important to me, so I couldn't have come up with a better name for my angel girl.

Awe those are beautiful names with such beautiful meaning. I know what you mean. I love being able to refer to my babies by their name when I am talking about them.

Beautiful, Im so glad DH helped too. Im sure that helped your heart heal alot. I think the plant idea is great, it is so nice to watch something grow and evolve as a symbol of your angels.

The fact that DH helped me meant so much. IN the past he didn't even want to talk about it. He said it was morbid to name them, but when I told him I was naming them anyway, he helped. I know he still isn't going to want to talk about them very often (that's why I have JM!), but that gesture meant alot to me.

I am glad you named your babies, I too had to name mine. It just felt right and helped on some level. You have picked awesome names and I am glad your DH helped you choose them.

It's great that you and your DH named your angels. I think that it is important for each of them to have their own special name.

Lovely names. I know what you mean, it really helped me to name my angel. (Just did so recently, still have to post about).
It made me feel more like I was able to come to grips with what I had lost.
