DH and I recently decided to sell our house and build our dream home. His business is doing well and it's something we've talked about for a couple of years. We bought an acre lot in a great neighborhood last month and have been finalizing a floor plan. Well, today the builder we are using brought the contract by and DH signed it... and the builder said he scheduled his people and they are about a week out from breaking ground!!!
We are so excited! We've been working really hard to get our home ready to sell, and will probably put it on the market June 1st. We may be living in an apt for a few months if we can sell it right away... we're hoping we can b/c the market is still really good here in OKC.
Nonetheless, our builder said we should be in our new home by November barring no weather delays!

)... We do have a model home we are basing it off of, which makes it easier b/c we are using most of the same colors, with some exceptions and added extras - including a second master closet (mostly for my shoes!!
