Showed a yolk sac and fetal pole measuring 6w3d but there was no heartbeat. They think that I am going to mc. I went and had my beta drawn again today, so just waiting for those results. Then by Friday they will be doing another u/s to double check for a hb and if it still isn't there then I am given the option to wait or have a d&c. Dh and I did bd on March 17th (making me exactly 6w3), but I got another + opk on the 22nd and 23rd and we bd'd on the 23rd. I am a poasa and I have been testing all month. I tested on April 2nd and it was bfn. I tested again on April 4th and got bfp. So if I use the 6 weeks, then I wouldn't have gotten my bfp until 18dpo, but it was negative 2 days before. It just doesn't make any sense to me at all. I hope I can still get the results back tonight, otherwise it is going to be really hard to sleep. I will let you all know what I find out.
UPDATE: Still no heartbeat today. They sent me for another hcg blood draw and we should know more with those results. Its not looking good. There is still a yolk sac and fetal pole but no heartbeat. Dr. said she has seen it take longer for the heartbeat to show up so she isn't giving up on me yet. She said she will get the results monday(i am going to the lab to get a copy of my results so I don't have to wait all weekend) and if they have still gone up she will get one more blood draw and then if I am over 10000 they should definitely have a heartbeat by then. So I will let you all know what my numbers are as soon as I get them. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!

Rhonda, i wouldnt count on the u.s it is early. When i went in for Makenna at 8 weeks and 3 days they had a hard time find her heart beat as well. Try to think positive hun. i know its easier said then done, but you have us to support you! The machine could be reading something totally different.
HUGS!!!!

Rhonda, I pray that it is just too early. It is still real early to find a heartbeat. I will be praying for you and sending you strength to get through these next couple days. Your bloodwork so far sounded really great so I hope that today's comes back just as well as the others. HUGS

Rhonda -- I just thought of something. You said you think you are 5w3d but the u/s measured your bean at 6w3d. Haven't you mentioned in previous posts that you have diabetes? If you gave diabetes, then you would also have gestational diabetes, right? I know when there is gestational diabetes, the babies tend to grow larger. Maybe this is why the dates seem off. Maybe you really are only 5w3d and it's just too soon to see the heartbeat.

Sacha, yes I am diabetic but its not exactly the same as GD. Yes babies of diabetics grow larger but usually that happens later in pregnancy. That is why they want to date this pregnancy early because later it is harder to be accurate. Also as long as my sugars are "normal" then the growth rate shouldn't be excessive.
So I just tried to get the results back, but was told they won't be ready until 7pm. So I have another half hour before I will know anymore. Waiting is the hardest thing to do right now. 30 minutes feels like an eternity.
Thank you all for your support and hugs.

Rhonda.... I am sending you every single once of prayer I can manage. I will be praying HARD for your sweet baby. You may want to go to the site the Missed Miscarriage. It gave me LOTS of hope when I felt like there was none.
It is VERY possible the u/s was too early. My doc won't even do them till 7-8 weeks because he says it just creates too much worry when a few days can make all the difference in the world.

I got the results back. Last Saturday they were 2532, but today they were only 6396. They did double, but it took 4 days. Its not looking very hopeful right now. I will find out more tomorrow about what the next step is. I know for my peace of mind I will want another hcg draw on Friday or Saturday and another u/s before I make any kind of decisons. I truly don't think that I want to have a d&c because I am afraid of it causing scar tissue. I know it is a routine procedure, but I have had way too many things going against me. Seems like I beat all of the odds, and in a bad way. Being in limbo sucks!!
