Ok my old DDC (shame on me for lurking cuz it hurts) did this and I love the idea!!! It is sorta like a dear abby thing. It can be funny or serious, as long as it doesnt get offensive or violate JM rules.

Dear Gavin,

As much as I love the fact that you are gaining more words in your vocabulary screaming at the top of your lungs "all done" is not a very flattering attribute. I heard the first 3 times you stood and said you were finished with your dinner. If you could just take into consideration that maybe mommy doesnt want to jump up and get you down from your high chair, and Im possibly enjoying not chasing you around the house. For future refrence please remember that I do love to spend time with you, but every now and again your mommy does have selective hearing.
