Um, I dont think I can comment on this without violating some sort of JM rule. But I do need to add my 2 cents. This chick should be taken out back and shot. I hate that she is alive. I know that im being very insensitive, and im sorry if im offending anyone but I cant believe this ######.

edited to add I am pro choice as well, but not pro stupidity and cruelty.

That is very disturbing. I cant believe someone would even want to see the so called art that she is doing. I'm pro choice but that is just wrong to do to a baby that is human just for her own benefit.

If you click on the Yale News link it gives a more in depth article to read telling you exactly what her art project is and to put it in the nicest terms I can think of off the top of my head, it's interesting. Now don't get me wrong as I am totally against what this girl did and think it is totally in-humane. It is however art in the sense of a psycho. It sounds like something a serial killer would do and in my mind is what she is. How could she do something like that, take something so precious as pregnancy and the formation of human life and manipulate it. We all know what it feels like to have had and lost and I could never imagine doing it on purpose for reasons of recording the act. I guess a part of me understands the idea she was trying to portray but I think there are other means. Why not record the act of several different women giving birth to term babys and ask to use the cord blood. She would have gotten the same effect with out the horror of what she did. I am just appauled!!

That makes me want to vomit, and I know it's not from what I ate tonight.

Did anyone see that last comment? "Why does she need counselling?"

I responded

Why does she need counselling? Because she's sick in the head!! To become pregnant then forcefully abort those children is a sick and disgusting act in need to mental attention. There are so many women out there, myself included, who have become pregnant, loved our children and lost them, and then to read of someone so selfish, wanting an A, who aborts seemingly healthy children for "art", that just makes me sick. I have suffered two consecutive losses and would have given anything to give those children love and a good home. I hope this person NEVER has children. The government should force her to get a hysterectomy or something. That makes me want to throw up.

Apparently, it's a hoax.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...8041702519.html

Either way:

Regardless of whether or not it was a hoax, the very thought of such a “project” is disgusting and demoralizing. As a woman who has suffered two losses, 10 weeks apart, and is now pregnant again, the thought that someone who do or would even fake such a story or such an act, again, makes me want to throw up, and no, it’s not what I ate tonight.

To even think up such a story, how can you not consider the emotional sensitivites of women who have lost children through miscarriage? Did she not think of how much it would affect such women? I’m sure she’s not that stupid not to have thought that men and women everywhere would be so emotionally affected by such a thing.

Joke or not, this woman still needs mental help. I hope they kick her out of the university for this.

yeah I had read about this earlier in the day then later saw that it was a hoax.

I wonder what possessed her? I mean she thought somehow that this was a good idea. What did they call it-"creative fabrication"? That's Yale's way of saying she lied about the whole thing for "art"? Ridiculous.

The sad thing is that she has gotten so much publicity from this that she is almost guaranteed some sort of job in the art world.

Hoax or Not....she is A SICK TWISTED FREAK...
they said had these acts been real, they would have violated basic ethical standards and raised serious mental and physical health concerns.

IMO.....even IF not real, it raises mental health concerns IMO...
she needs a beating and I'd love to give it to her.....sorry, but thats how I feel

after reading this just now.....
I am thinking it is real

It is so sad that there are people out htere that have no concern that what they are saying might be brutally hurting someone.

Im sorry to say, it makes me sick to my stomach to think i can be deployed at any point and have to leave my husband and son just to go fight for people as ignorant and cruel as her.

I feel the same way on alot of issues...especially those ***** retards that protest at funerals of Soldiers/Sailors/Airman/Marines returning from overseas...they REALLLLLLLLLLLY get me heated...

I think the fact that someone was even able to conjure up the idea of what this article was about is in need of mental health treatment...ugh...
