So... as I mentioned in an earlier post, both dh and I got a stomach bug. Mine started Thursday night and by Friday evening I was pretty good. DH started last night, and now he is pretty much back to normal. My question is should I be concerned of BDing so soon after the bug? I'm not sure how a stomach bug would affect sperm? I'm sure if they were weak, they wouldn't reach the egg anyway, but now that I've had a loss, I think I'm over analyzing everything. I'm on CD9 of a 30 or 31 day cycle. I'm really not sure when I ovulate -- I "think" I can tell when I have ovulation cramps, but I'm not sure of those are when I'm ovulating, when I'm about to ovulate or just after I've ovulated. I know we need to dtd BEFORE ovulation, so I figued we would just have fun and start early. Argh -- I told myself I wouldnt obsess over this, and here I am obsessing! Do you have any opinions? I know, I should just relax, right? LOL!

I don't have a real answer. But in December when I became pregnant the week before I ovulated I had the flu. The real flu. 103 F temp, coughing, felt like I was ran over by a truck. I thought it would effect my ovulation but I o'd on time and became pregnant after waiting our 3 months after the d and c. Good luck! And sorry you were sick.

Hon.... I think you are fine. If I am thinking right.... the sperm are made two weeks before they get kicked out

Plus I don't think the flu would affect the swimmers anyhow.... and only the strong survive.... so BD away
