Well, I had another episode in the waiting room at emerge and they put me on a stretcher in the hallway until they could get me a bed. They did a bedside ultrasound, an unofficial one, and the doctor found the gestational sac in the uterus. Unfortunately, it did not have a yolk sac, fetal pole, fetus or a heartbeat. He asked if I had lots of nausea with this pregnancy and I said yes, that it started 3.5 weeks earlier than it did with Zoe. Then he said that he wanted to do my hcg levels. Now, assuming they were doubling ever 48 hours, they should have been 32650. They came back at 28583. The doctor said this was a good thing. Apparently once levels hit 25-thousand-something, they should start to slow down. He said that anything higher than 30-thousand, he would have called the on-call OB to see me.
His explanations for the lack of a yolk sac in the gestation sac were as follows:
-crappy machine, just not strong enough to pick up the yolk sac
-not as far along as 6w1d
-blighted ovum
-molar pregnancy
-ectopic pregnancy
Ruled out were the following:
-ectopic pregnancy
-possibly molar pregnancy
By the time I received my levels back, I had a new doctor. He said that when he took a look at the ultrasound, the sac looked to be about an early to mid 4-week old sac and definitely not a 6 weeks sac, which would not only explain the theory that I ovulated late, but also why no yolk sac was visible. The downside to that, is that if I was only 4w-something, my levels are extremely high and yet again, indicative of a possible molar pregnancy. But at the time, there was no concrete evidence of a molar pregnancy.
So, I have to go get my ultrasound on Tuesday, which will date the pregnancy and hopefully explain one of these theories (hoping that I'm 4w-something and none of the others), and I have to repeat my bloodwork on Tuesday as well.
So please ladies, keep me and the Pebble(s) in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks!!

Brandi, it's way to early to give up hope yet. I know it's not easy, but just try to relax between now and Tuesday. Please let us know how it goes. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

So, in all my paranoia, I went in search of 4 week ultrasound pics, and lo and behold, the ones I found look exactly like mine did tonight. So I'm going to believe that I absolutely 100% ovulated late. The earliest I can be is 4w2d, the latest is 6w1d and I know I'm not 6 weeks. I think my levels just have a really high kick start, and now they're beginning to slow down like they should. I strongly and honestly believe that given a few weeks time, I will see my precious baby and my precious baby's heartbeat, so please ladies, I ask you to believe and think and pray with me for that, because I refuse to believe that I will lose this miracle.

I hope they can give you better answers on Tuesday when you get another u/s. Must be scary to keep fainting. Did they have answers for why they suspect the fainting? Please KUP. Healthy baby vibes and prayers coming your way. HUGS

No, they couldn't explain why I was fainting. Their only suggestions were an ectopic or a molar for why I was fainting and vomitting, and they outruled an ectopic. The hestational sac was in the uterus, no question.
