So last night everyone in the house goes to bed at about 9pm. Well we have as you know by my siggy 2 dogs. the pit is amazing, and the boxer is well... less than smart. So the boxer Snarf jumped up on my son's bed about 6 different times through out the night, waking him up. After each time of getting Gavin back to sleep Id tell the dog not to jump back up or I'd break his legs. He obviously didnt get it.

So about 3:30 Gavin wakes up again thanks to Snarf. After he stops crying i hear "uh oh...uh oh... where did it go?" I lay in bed thinking to meself.. no way, he has to be looking for his water, which he does not need. I rolled back over and fell asleep.
Well 4:30 rolls around and I hear "uh oh..uh oh... butt butt". Oh man, so I pick him up and no sooner am I covered in pee. (mind you DH slpt through the entire set of events) So, I got up stripped his bed down, and pulled off his wet PJ's and diaper.. to which he responds with " uh oh.. butt butt.... where did it go?" I couldnt help but laugh.

I slept horribly, but learned a great lesson. When a 2y/o talks, someone had better listen!

I'm understanding correctly, he lost his diaper? LOL, that's just too funny!! Reminds me of the time my dd was wearing sleepers and she lost her diaper in the leg of her PJs and we didn't know it. How funny!!!

That is funny!

I hear ya though! Our DS is about to turn 3. He amazes us every day with the things he says. It's so neat to finally be able to have full conversations with him. He asked me last week.. "mommy, did you and daddy buy me at the store?"... Absolutely precious! Two has been an awesome age.

I love this stage. Too funny. I definately have to be careful about my language around Naden now. He repeats everything!

Sounds like an exhausting night. Maybe you could nap to catch up on some zzzzz's

your stories are too cute haha. Danica i know what you mean. DH told me about how he yelled at a car the other day and DS repeated it!!! I was so mad.

I think originally he was saying uh oh about peeing, but when i took off his diaper is when he said where did it go. lmao.

Id love to catch up on sleep but I doubt it will happen. I get off and home by like 5ish, then I have to pick up (sometimes with help) the house, and make dinner. By the time we are done eating and cleaning it is time to wind down for the night with showers and such. Plus tonight we start baby dancin so... yeah. lol
