Hi Nicole. Im so sorry for your loss, but glad you found this room. these women rock!!
I know I was 5w5d when I had my loss and I was told to wait one cycle. I bled for a week heavily, then spotted for 1 week after that. Most women dont ovulate during that first post loss cycle. I hope that info helps.
Again welcome, and I hope you get your bfp very soon

Welcome Nicole, I'm sorry for your lost, i also hope that you don't have to go through it again, it is very painful but glad you found us.
I think it varies from women to women, I was about 9 weeks, I think I bleed for about a week, then it took 4 weeks for my first af. My doctor told me to wait two menstrual cycles, so we are back to TTC

Hi Nicole! I'm sorry you are having to join us here, but this group of ladies is wonderfully supportive.
Each situation is different, but I would say the average is around a wk for bleeding. And I think Dr's are trained to say wait three cycles, but technically if it's an early loss your physically ready after your next period. That's according to my Perinatologist.
Good luck, and I hope you get another BFP soon!

Hi Nicole,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I m/c on April 10th and I know I had a ton of questions too. I got a lot of great information from the Grief and Loss message board.
My m/c was natural (nobody warned my about the pain!). I stopped bleeding about a week after. Right after it happened I swore that I would never go through the pain again (emotional this time, not physical), but after a few days I wanted to TTC. My Dr told me that it's best to wait after one full cycle before TTC. I'm ready to start NOW - but will follow orders and wait for another month.
You will know when your body is ready.
Trust me, it does get easier as time goes by. This is a great group, everyone has been so supportive.

I am glad you found us over here.
I was told to wait one cycle to TTC. I didn't any of the times but never got PG again that first couple weeks anyways.
I hope your stay here is short and sweet. I look forward to getting to know you

Hi Nicole -
I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Mine have lasted about a week and then AF is about 5 weeks later. Then normal 28 days. My doctor told me to wait two cycles before TTC again.
It's so painful but it does get better. Soon enough you will be excited and waiting for AF so you can start TTC again.
This is a great website for encouragement, questions, and talking with those who've also experienced loss. I've found so much comfot in this site. Hope you do too.
Hugs!

Hi Nicole, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It was the most difficult thing for me in this lifetime thus far. I was 5w2d with my natural mc, and it was like a heavy period for about 4 days, then some spotting. I was told at that time I could start TTC after 1 normal period.
I hope you find this board as wonderful and helpful as I have!
