I was thinking about this...

Do you think when you ovulate has anything to do with your chances of conceiving? I had a very late ovulation (CD19) last time I conceived. I've been ovulating earlier since then.

Do you think it matters? Or is it just random?

hmm i think it would be a better sign if it mattered to o earlier. I think it means that everything is revved up and healthy. i think if it is late then your body may have tried and it got postponed, and might not be as healthy of an egg? i dunno just my thoughts no science behind it.

Edited because I am a tard and didn't read you question right.

I don't think it changes your odds personally. I O'd late (day22) and conceived...

I o'd on or around cd 45 and got bfp so I don't think it plays that much of a role in it. When I got pregnant with Abby I o'd around cd 33. So I definitely O late. After giving birth to Abby I o'd very early on cd 10 and had bd'd at a great time but didnt' get pregnant. I often wondered if it mattered when I o'd too. I sometimes think that early O might mean less mature eggs, late ovulation might mean not as healthy, but I guess that isn't the case. Either way, good luck and I hope you catch that egg whenever it decides to come out!!

Thanks Jess! That helps.

I did a little more reading and it looks like it can be a problem when it's super early (before CD 8-10) or super late (after CD 21ish). But of course there are some that still get pg even if they O early or late.

I won't worry about it since the earliest I've ever Oed was CD 13. I just thought it was interesting that I got pg when I Oed later, but it was probably just coincidence.
