Seems like it takes forever to do it all.... here are some of the in progress pics. We are working on putting brick over the ugly concrete on the front porch. We are also in the middle of doing the siding and the roof....and the deck in the backyard. The inside is a whole different story. I sometimes wonder if it will EVER be done?

Dave working on the brick....

My son pulled his car on the lawn cause he wanted to take pics to sell it... LOL

and he washed my truck for me while he was washing his car. I love having a teenage boy!

Hopefully soon I can post the *after* pics of my mess.

Giiirl, I know how you feel about your house/yard being a construction zone. It's dark here now but Dh is still outside tearing up the yard for the sprinkler system.

Just keep repeating to yourself that it will be so great when it's done! Can't wait for "after" pics.

Thanks girls. I was against brick at first, but once I saw this brick I really liked it, and it was on clearance. I bought all of it from 5 Home Depots nearby. Thery are now *sold out*. The walkway on the side of the house that is concrete will be done in it too. There is also a railing with posts for the front porch that we took off today to do the brick. I wish I could have bought more brick... we would have done a patio out back in it too. Oh well!

that's awesome. I think that brick makes it really look so much nicer & it tends to hold up well

I love the brick. 3 wks ago we started bricking around the side and back of our house. Well, lets say I started laying bricks. DF just helped carry some of them. My muscles hurt for 3 days after that stunt. Now its halfway done because I am dreading the muscle aches! Cant wait to see the after photos

It looks great. My house looked like a war zone for a while. We finally finished the outside. We still have 1 whole bathroom and 1 bedroom to redo. Plus I'd love to have a new kitchen floor. It seems like it never ends, huh?
