I have all the pg symptoms I would normally have yet I tested tonight and got a BFN!! I don't understand, I have been spotting and sometimes its red but it hasn't even been enough to wear a liner. I thought for sure tonight would be the night and now I'm just kicking myself that I didn't wait til in the morning. The only thing I can think is that either maybe truely I'm not pg or the test was invalid as the control line was kind of spotty/wavy looking. I'll try the other test in the morning but I think I might just break down if I see another BFN in the morning. Truthfully girls, if I'm not pg, I telling Dh to go get snipped because I can't do this anymore.

Courtney,

I am soooo sorry for the stupid friggin' BIG FAT nothing. GRRR We have all decided to throw our tests at the wall to make us feel better. Want to join?

I hope the line is just being stubborn. I can understand your frustration with TTC. I know there have been times when I really just want my old life back.... pre OPK's, BBT's, HPT's and BD. We used to cruise 4-5 times a year. I haven't been on a cruise in a YEAR just because I would worry that I was PG and *could* miscarry on a cruise. How stupid is that? It's like my old fun...happy go lucky life is gone.

Somedays I just want to toss it all and be happy with the two kids I have.

I totally understand your decision, but pray there is one more baby in the cards for you.

<praying hard>

Love ya girl!

Oh man I hear ya! I am sitting here thinking how bad my boobs hurt, and baffled by the BFN's too. I thought I knew my body pretty well, and I would SWEAR I am pregnant, but nope....just AF being a witch! I hope she shows for me and not you.

If she shows I hope you still keep in touch when not TTC. I missed you while you were gone and have liked having you back

Thanks Girls,
You are all so positive. I keep trying to think the same thing, as I know I am a late BFP person as well. I just didn't keep track of how many DPO I was when I got my last BFPs so I have nothing to gauge by. Anyway the line on last nights test looked different then the last FRER BFN I got so I am kinda leaning toward it being an invalid test. I kinda wonder if in my excitement to see those two lines I didn't dip it for long enough, as it took a while for the control line to show up as the dye moved across even. However I am sketchy to use my second test this am because Dh told me he thought I should wait til Wed and if I use the other test and again get a BFN, he will be really mad if I later have to go buy even more tests again. He honestly feels they are a waste of money. I could never be a full out POASaholic or Dh would go Ape!!
The only other thing that has me concerned is my spotting. I have had spotting with all my pgs and each time it has been a little different. This is like consistant brownish/red spotting. I can't call it a flow as I haven't had to even wear a liner but it is very disturbing considering the circumstances. I am worried that if I am pg that if could be the indicator of a problem. I am really half a notion to call the dr today just not sure. I'm going here! I just wish I could get one or the other, AF or BFP, so I would know what is going on.

How many dpo are you? When is af due? I'd call the dr just to see if maybe they can do the blood work. It can't hurt. I hope you get an answer soon, honey! I'm praying you get a BFP soon!

I an 17 DPO and AF is 5 days late, however I have lightly spotted for those 5 days too, mostly brown with the occasional bright red. I assumed IB since it didn't pick up and kind came and went for a while, but now its more consistant but still nothing I have to even wear a liner for and totally out of the ordinary for me as AF. My AF are usually light red flow the first day picking up to extremely heavy for 2-3 days then tapering off, so if it is AF it's the most enjoyable AF I've had in a long time. Still doesn't explain why I "feel" pg though. No AF cramps, minimal bloating, extremely tired by mid-day, and easily fatigued, nausea if I don't eat right away, and then still a little right after I eat, sore bbs, sensitive nips, defined montgomery's glands. I had told Dh that if I was late, I would "know" I was pg because I haven't been late for the last 6 months and I haven't had a cycle that lasted this long since Oct. Even my first cycle after my m/c was only 37 days, and this is CD 37 for this cycle. So I know something wierd is going on I just don't get why I am still getting BFN and not even a faint line. I'll go grab my HPT from last night and take a pic, BRB.

Ok, so here's the pics!!

This is last night's test!!

And a little closer...

This a FRER that I took last Wed!

You can see how the lines look different and hence why I think last nights test maybe invalid!

I'm sorry that you're still in limbo! I would definitely call the doc!
