Well, today we had to go officially pick our puppy. A friend of mine from work had an accidental litter. I hadn't planned on another dog since we already have 2. But one is rather old and the younger dog needs someone who can keep up. Originally we picked a girl, but when we got there, I fell in love with the biggest most calm boy. But, since Dan said that I stole his chocolate lab, that he needed a dog. So, Dan picked and we stayed with the female. She is so cute. We wont bring her home until she is 8wks. Today she is 6wks 3 days.

She's so adorable. She looks just like my SIL's puppy "Lucy" when they brought her home. My SIL loved the name Lucy because she wanted to say "I love Lucy" all the time. Congrats! I hope the next week and a half flies by for you.

Awww, I WANT one! I miss furries! My family has always had labs/lab mixes. My favorite was an older purebred black lab we adopted, names Princess she was SUCH a sweetheart.

Sacha, I LOVE the name Lucy. Dan was set on Marlee. Maybe I can change his mind. I like Roxie too. Our other dogs names are Samson and Murphy. Samson is old, and one sad day when he is no longer with us, it will be Murphy and Marlee. I think that is why dan likes it.

Michelle, we have a almost 4 yr old Chocolate lab too. We tried to rescue a 5yr old female, but within 3 days of her posting the dog for adoption, she was gone. So, we wills stick with little Marlee. She has a lot of personality. Everytime I looked at her, her tails starts wagging a mile a minute. So sweet.

We are excited. I know that since our struggles with TTC have increased and since we have decided to step back from medical assistance, she will help with that void. I still get anxious when I think about it, and I think that there is no greater healing power than that of unconditional love. I wish we lived near Bobbie, then Chevy and Marlee could play together. Now that would make for some adorable photos!!

We just gave away our bassador (basset lab mix) MOlly on Friday. We are getting ready to sell our house and she digs giant craters in the yard. I miss her so much though. I have an old grouchy wiener dog named Lucy.
