It's still light but my cervix is now open and I'm certain you can't have light bleeding and an open cervix and be pregnant too!! I'm still confused about my cycle but amazingly I am handling it very well. I was trying to remain optimistic and was excited that my cervix was still high, however, TMI alert, once I was able to reach and feel, it was very open, so I'm sure this must be AF. I wish I knew why all the symptoms but I've thought for a while that I had a major hormone imbalance going on so maybe this is just a leftover reaction of having messed with my hormones by taking BC for a month in January. My dr did say that my heavy periods were do to an imbalance so maybe the fluctuation with the BC caused a long cycle. Though I don't understand why last cycle would have been fairly normal, it was a day short of the norm but I wouldn't think that would matter too much. I don't know. I think I will be calling my dr though to see if I can get things straightened out. At this rate if I do continue to TTC, which I'm thinking about even after what I said earlier, I think it may take a while so I might as well weigh out all my options now and then decide if its worth it or not. Maybe there is some under lying problem that can be easily fixed or that could be something that I could try forever and never get pg. Either way it may be something to help make my decision easier. However I must say Dh just called and I told him I thought I started and he ask if I was ok, so it helps to know he genuinely cares about my feelings even if he isn't the into trying. Anyway, I just wanted you all to know I may be MIA for a while again, although I don't think as long as I was last time but regardless I'll be lurking and around.
Thanks for all your support today, and GL in your TTC journeys,

Courtney,

I am sorry the witch is on your door step.

The TTC decision is not an easy one to make, but if you are unsure, there is nothing saying you have to make a decision either way right now

Just enjoy life and take what comes right?

Right! But it also helps to know your options. I think my Dh, my dr, and I have a lot to discuss.

im sorry you are feeling so bad. can someone correct me here though, i was under the understanding your cervix only opens a little when AF coming/here. i was told the only time it is really open is when Oing.
i hope you are ok hun and that whatever decision you make is the right one for YOU!

Amazingly I am handling it all very well. I told myself last night that if every cycle could be as easy as this one has been I wouldn't mind getting AF so much. So far it has picked up slowly and my craps haven't been too bad. It's nice to not have to double protect too from bleeding so heavily. It does suck that I was fooled into believing I was pg but I haven't had nearly the mood swings I would normally have with AF either so, miraculously I'm in a pretty good mood. I know what's wrong with my right? I just wish I knew what was different about this cycle so that I could keep them this way. I don't mind a little longer cycle if it means that I don't have to deal with all the other crap. So maybe my OB can help me figure that one out, cause if it's a hormone balance, imbalance that can be maintained with a certain BC without side effects, I'd like to keep my cycle this way for a while and just cruise. Then when I'm ready to really try I can get back to business, instead of this up and down thing all the time. I hate the rollercoaster. Thanks for the Hugs though they mean alot and wish you all the best of luck. I'll be stalking you.

Man Courtney,

Im sorry she might be here, but Im so proud of you for being so strong about it. Im happy DH was concerned, what an awsome hubby . If you do go into hiding for a while we will definatly be here awaiting your return. I hope that the doc has some easy to handle fixes that will get ya knocked up in no time

Sara, your cervix opens for both. It raises and opens for O, then closes and starts to lower, then opens again for af.
