We have finally booked a 3D ultrasound. It's on September 23, 2008 at 4:00pm. I'll be 28w3d. Last time we had one for our daughter, we couldn't get in until I was almost 32 weeks with her, so we didn't get a very good view.

Just curious how much those things cost? They didn't have them available when I had my kids.

On 1/31 at exactly 16 weeks pregnant Noah came too soon. The package we're getting is regular $149 for a 20 minute session, optional gender determination, 2 printed 4 x 6 photos, a CD of photos and hearing the heartbeat. We're also adding a DVD of the session for $30. But the place we're going to has a Tuesday Special, where that $149 package is only $99 plus tax. We're still adding the DVD. The Tuesday Special ends September 30, so we're just sneaking in.
We went to this same place for Zoe, but we didn't get in until almost 32 weeks so we didn't see very much. I'm so excited to be getting in during the recommended time period. I can't wait until I hit 28 weeks!!

That's so cool! 28 weeks is prime time I hear! Baby will fit on screen and be easier to see (I think? something like that anyways!)

Awesome!! I can't wait to see your pics. I was thinking about doing that with this baby, but I haven't really looked into it yet. I guess I didn't realize how far ahead you have to schedule it. Do you have any intuition about what you are having yet?

I love looking at them, but...I don't know that I ever want to get one myself. I love having the mystery of what the baby really looks like. On 2d u/s you still have to wonder, but on the 3d ones, it's almost like looking at a photograph, and I want to wait until my children are born.
But I cannon WAIT to see yours, and it seems like such a great deal!!

I have had 4 3D u/s done on 4 differnt pg's
26 to 28 weeks is best to see baby and here in BC its $ 150 for us since we are *repeat* clients it runs about 1 hour with DVD and last time 117 pics on disk (The tech, Owner got carried away lol) plus 2 printed photos.

Jessica, this place has locations all over Canada. There's one in St. Catharine's, London, and Oakville, and there's one in Victoria. I'm going to the Oakville ones. Only the Oakville and London locations have the Tuesday Special.
