I had to take my kitty boy Justin to the vet today. He's been having diarrhea since last Friday. My poor baby, he cried the whole way in the car and then we had to wait 30 minutes in a crowded waiting room with dogs and loud children.
The vet said everything else about him looked normal and gave me meds for him and some prescription cat food for the next few days.

Send some good thoughts his way that all this does the trick. I just want him to get better and for there to not be anything seriously wrong.

He's my happy boy again now that we are home, but I felt so bad for him at the vets office and just in general for him being sick (even though he doesn't act sick). I just want to make him better. Geez, I can't even imagine how bad it is when you have a sick baby, it kills me to have a sick kitty!

My kitty baby boy:

Shannon Im glad it was nothing serious. Dont worry, having a sick kid vs having a sick pet is not much different. you love them both and they are both a part of your family!! That kitty is your baby right now!!

AWWW. He is one PRETTY kitty! I just want to snuggle with him. I have to say I love my fur babies like they are my kids. And they don't know EVERYTHING like my teens do

I hope he is feeling better soon

he is so pretty! I hope he is feeling better. Whenever I used to take my cat to the vet, he would pee on me. I felt bad that he was so scared. You are a good furmommy!!

Warning gross stuff ahead:

Ack! So far the meds aren't working. There was still diarrhea all in the litterbox plus little drops of it all over the upstairs carpet and stairs. Giving him his pills today was NOT fun and I have to do it 3 more days.

AND Stormy has been throwing up hairballs mixed with vomit for the past 3 days, so that is all over the upstairs and stairs also. I thought it was just the occasional hairball thing but now it seems like there is more vomit mixed in with it!

Aughhhh....my poor kitties I just want them to be back to normal.
