OMG, I am soooo excited. First off, I didn't even have time to get nervous. I was running around all morning and litterally dropped Naden off at my friends house 10 minutes before my appt. So I rush over to the doctors and as soon as I put the paper on their desk and walked over to a chair to sit down they called me back. Phew. I went back, got undressed and the doc came in. She remembered all my other m/c's so she was like, let's look first and talk after. I think she could tell I didn't want to wait
So she's looking at the screen and then swings it around and says we have a baby and we have a heartbeat!
I was just so relieved. I asked her how fast the hearbeat was and she said probably around 170 but I don't think she actually could measure it with the little machine she was using. I have a pic that I'll post tonight.
She did say that I was measuring slightly behind, 6w4d but she said not to worry because the baby is so small that it is hard to get exact measurments right now. She wants me to come back in 2 weeks for a more accurate dating
She also said I have a little pool of blood in my uterus so if I spot to not worry. I am glad she told me that.
All in all it was an AWESOME appointment. All my other losses I was never able to see a baby or heartbeat so I feel like we have hit a huge milestone. I just feel like everything is going to be just perfect.
