They could've given us some warning that they were gonna do maintenance. This is crazy. I've been trying to get on since 9:30 this morning. I was beginning to have withdrawals.

Yeah, I was thinking I need to find another site as a back up because JM has had so many issues lately it seems. If I get on more of those errors when I try to post I'll scream. GRRRR And why can't they do maintenance in the evening when not as many users are on. Whatever. Vent over.

Every night they are down for 45 mins to an hour.
I wonder why JM is down every night and still needing to do random maintenance.

Every time they do this I always think, what if it doesn't come back. How would I get ahold of all the ladies... Do I have their email addresses... It's like panic sets in, LOL. I mean seriously, it wouldn't go down forever... right?

There was a posting surge the past few days that's been causing alot of the problems I think. Yesterday the top 20 posters for the day had an unbelievable number of posts. The top poster made over 5,000 posts yesterday. 
The top 13 all had over 1000 posts a piece yesterday.

Ladies, if you look up justmommies.com on Facebook, there's a group there. You can get your fill while it's down.
Honestly, and it's not meant to be mean, but they claimed it was the Top 50 causing the boards to go down every month, well, that's gone and it's still going down, so that's obviously not it. I hope they figure it out soon.

From what I can tell, there was one board that had a post the most type contest this month. Looks like 81,000 or so posts.....mostly in the past couple of days. Anytime you have a surge of posts like that (similar to what happened during the top 50) it can cause a board to crash. There was some major problems with the server or some such thing. (I am so not computer literate!) Looks like they got it fixed.

I DONT KNOW ABOUT THE WHOLE MAINTANANCE THING THIS MORNING BUT I WORK MIDNIGHTS SOMETIMES AND I HATE IT THAT I CANT GET ON SOME NIGHTS!!!! THANX FOR HEARING MY COMPLAINT!!

2 days ago i couldnt get on at all and yesterday i couldnt get on after 5 and even before then it was slow  i had a good cry about it too. normally i just say "yeah whatever" and go to my other site but since finding this board i cant cope without it
