Hi ladies,
I'm Kristy and DH is Michal. We have been TTC#1 for a year. Last Friday I took a HPT and had a BFP. I took many more, including a digi, that were all BFP. By Sunday I had started bleeding, which was when AF was due so it was a chemical. I went ahead to the ER Monday to be sure and my urine test there was inconclusive and beta was 49. I started bleeding heavier and with a lot of clots later that day (and it was my birthday )
Mostly I am handling it pretty well, I think because after a year of TTC I was not convinced that I even could conceive so at least now I know i can.
I have read that with a chemical you don't have to wait a cycle so I think we will go right back to TTC. I have an appointment Tues. and will hopefully get some tests. Have any of you had such early m/c? I have believed forr some time that I also had one last June and now I feel more confident that it was after what happened this time.
I look forward to getting to know you all.

First off, I want to say I am very sorry for your loss. Early or late, it's a tough thing to go through.

Back in the beginning of February I tested too (on a Friday) and got a BFP. On Sunday I started spotting lightly. I went to the ER and my HCG was 40, or something low like that. After spotting for another week or so and after some ultrasounds, turns out I had an ectopic pregnancy in my right tube. I had the methotrexate shot and it didn't work. I went in for surgery and they had to remove my right tube. (I was only about 6 weeks along)

It is now about 2 months later. Our first month back TTC just passed (got AF 2 days ago). I was given the go ahead to TTC after I got my first period after surgery. Miraculously it came 31 days after the day of surgery. And this period too came 31 days. My body doesn't seem to realize it had surgery!! Which is a good thing.

Anyway, I would think you could start TTC again. But see what your Dr says.

Good luck on your TTC journey. (I'm on month 9 of TTC).

Kristy,

Im so sorry for your loss hun I hope that you recover quickly and can ttc with us very soon. I agree that you shouldnt have to wait at all, unless you feel you need that time to grieve.

My loss was at 5w5d and it sucked to say the least. i was told wait 1 cycle.

Welcome, and feel free to jump right in.

hello and welcome.
im so sorry to hear of your loss. i had a "suspected" chemical the cycle before i had my m/c the reason i say "suspected" is because we were all sure i was pregnant, had faint line and doc said he could see it but when i started bleeding really heavy i had to see another doc who just said "oh its a heavy period
i Od early next cycle and ended up with a bfp again but unfortunatly it wasnt to be either.
i hope you get through this quickly and can get back to ttc a healthy bean
x

I'm so sorry for your loss. I just had a m/c on Monday also and it's been the hardest thing I've ever had to go through. So, I understand the emotions you're going through right now. My doctor told us to wait about two cycles before trying again. But, from everything I've read, there's really no reason for us to wait, so we are only planning on waiting one cycle before trying again. These ladies have been great here and I hope you find comfort and support here.
