I know this is off topic, but I'm trying to keep my mind off of the fact that AF will be here any day... :

So, here goes. They started clearing our lot yesterday to build our dream home-- yea!!! I stopped by today to take pics and share with DH since he is out of town. Secondly, me and Mason went home and fun, fun living in OK... tornado season! We had to high-tail it to our underground shelter b/c we were under a tornado warning. Our shelter is inside our big shop and we could hear the hail pelting so hard. A tornado (one of many here in OK tonight) touched down 3 miles from our house.. scary. But we actually were hit by a tornado here back in 2004... so we're accustomed to these types of things, as much so as you can get I guess. Anyway, we walked out after the storm had past and found tons of golfball sized hail in our backyard.. and my car has some serious hail damage. Oh well, I was wanting a new paint job anyway!

Lastly, I am pumped b/c I get to see Kenny Chesney tomorrow night in concert for the upteenth time! I am a huge fan and there's a long story with it, but I met him 8 years ago when I was a news producer and he's always hooked me up with front row seats. I called his manager and left a message and am hoping he gets me and my girlfriends seats again this year. Last year we were in front touching the stage!!

So here's to something positive- I am taking tomorrow off to spend a day of pampering, starting with a massage and getting my nails done and going to the gym and then visiting my girlfriend who just had her baby last night. I can't wait!! And then I'm having lots of drinks with my girls and spending a night out with Kenny (not my Kenny, the other Kenny)

That's great about the house. We want pics, too. I'm sorry about the tornado and hail. I'm glad you and Mason are fine though. Have an awesome day and fun at the concert.

Holy cow. I would definatly say you have enough to keep you busy. im so jelous of the day of pampering!!! Thats awsome about Kenny Chesney too!!

Crazy about the car and tornado. will your insurance cover the paint job?

I haven't called the insurance yet. A ton of people in our area had the same type of damage. Oh well. This is the second time I've had hail damage in the last 4 years- I guess it's just part of living here too. But yes, they usually cover it after I pay my deductible. yuck!

A good note, I have been texting back and forth with Kenny's manager this afternoon and he's hooking us up with seats in the front again this year!! Woohoo!!

Just wanted to say that I am totally jealous about your tickets!! I hope you have tons of fun and you HAVE to tell us all about it!

And I am sorry about the storm and the hail. I hope you can get your car fixed quickly!
