Ok ladies, looking for a little help,
I am on my third day of OPK testing and wondering if I have to POS the same time each day? I've read to POS b/t 2p-8p, and other kits said does not matter as long as its the same time.
Does it really matter?
LMP 4-19 usually 28 day cycle so I "should" O within the next couple of days and would like to make sure I'm using these sticks right.

TIA for any help,
Brenda

Yes, you should try to do it at the same time every day....usually the afternoon is better because that's when the LH is building up in your urine. You aren't supposed to use FMU.

Hey Brenda!

I just wanted to add that you might want to try to do more than one each day, especially when the line is getting close to positive. I know I would have totally missed my true positive this month if I had only taken 1 per day!

I also don't know if you have bought the OPKs online, but they are waaayyy cheaper than buying them at the store. That way, you don't fee so bad using more than 1 per day

Hope that helps!

Hi Melanie-
Thanks for your input.....
I agree about buying them online, forgot the website but it was a really good deal compared to store kits. Based on 28 CD I was hoping to get a + today but nothing yet. Today is CD 14, I started testing 4 days ago and the 1st one was the darkest line but not a positive, wondering if I O'd really early. yesterdays line was faint, I have not tested today. I can see how one becomes a POS aholic.

Ditto to everything Melanie said! When I'm getting close I use more than 1 a day.
