Yesterday my miscarriage was finally confirmed, My Hcg at 6 weeks had gone down from last thursdays 195 and was yesterday 159. A scan showed just fluid in my uterus. I want to TTC straight away...

I have not had a real heavy bleed yet, will i probably get one?

how long do you think 159 HCG will stay in my system?

Will it stop me Oing?

How long after a natural miscarriage should you wait before DTD?

Help please!!!!

I'm sorry for your loss!

I was told to wait two cycles after my m/c though alot of women are told one. I didn't stop bleeding/spotting for a while so we didn't DTD for probably 3 weeks after the start of my m/c. You may or may not O before your first AF.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I was also told to wait 1 cycle. I had a d&c though. I hope it all ends very quickly for you. We're here if you need anything!

Im sorry for your loss, and Id like to welcome you to this board. These women are amazing.

Ok some facts.. You physically cannot ovulate until your HcG is less that 5-3. So unfortunatly you have a bit of a wait. I knwo that with my loss I blead alot for 1 week then spotted for 1 week after. My hcg went from 981 down to less than 5 in about 2 weeks. I had a natural m/c and was only 5w5d. I hope that helps.

Also i was told wait 1 full cycle. And i dotn think you have to wait to DTD.

I am very sorry for your loss. Yes, bleeding and cramps will likely get heavy (TMI w/ clots and what not). I bled for a little over a week and then didn't get AF for just over 5 weeks. We tried right away, since I had a natural m/c for my first one.

This 2nd m/c, the bleeding was pretty light and I still have hcg in my system... I bled for maybe 4 days, but may still need a d & c. I believe w/ d & c's they want you to wait at least 1 cycle.

As long as your body still believes you are g, I don't believe you will o... and it should go down to less than 5 within a week or so. Your doctor may order another beta to make sure that it has gone down.

Big Hugs!

Hey girl! again i'm so sorry for your loss. Glad to see you over here though, all these ladies are great

I was told to wait one cycle, it wasn't too hard lol. But not ever dr will tell you to wait. Some say you can right away. Just depends if you are ready to.

My HCG was 295 with my last loss and it took only about 4 days to go back to 1. So it should take long at all, i would expect to O late this cycle and have a longer cycle than normal. Some women have heavy bleeding and some have very light. So it all depends on your body. Good luck with TTC again!

I am so sorry for your loss.

I had a natural m/c and we were told to wait one cycle. I don't think I ovulated that first cycle after the miscarriage anyway. We waited maybe a couple weeks after the m/c before we DTD.

I'm not sure when my hcg went back to zero but I know it was back down by the time I had my next AF.

I am so sorry for your loss - it helps having others with similar experience to talk to.

I had a natural m/c 3 weeks ago. I bled for about a week - not too heavily and it tapered off slowly.

I don't know what my HCG levels were or how long it was in my system. I think I O'd as I had symptoms (I'm not officially charting yet), but I am still waiting for my AF.

The ER doctor and my Dr both told me to wait for one full cycle.

Good luck!

first of all sorry for your loss, and when i had my miscarriage i had a d&c and at the hospital they told me i couldnt dtd until 30 days and to ttc after 2 cycles but when i went in for my 2week check up my doc told i could ttc right way that there isnt anything that will make you miscarry again due to trying again and also stated that if your body isnt ready you wont get pregnant so i have your levels drop quickly so you can ttc and i dont think you will ovulate till your levels drop to at least 5 or less

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. The ladies here are a wonderful support.

You wont O until you are less the 5. Some ladies do not O before their first AF.

We DTD once the bleeding stopped. We also didn't use protection. I just got my first AF since my m/c and it was 28 days since I started to m/c... so I'm still on schedule. Once AF leaves we are actively TTC

I hope you O soon and get your BFP right away!! Good luck
