Hi everyone!
My name is Julie and we will be ttc #3 in August. Although I am not actually able to start ttc until then, I wanted to get to know you girls over the next few months.
A little about me - I have two dds. I don't feel comfortable giving out their real names on a public forum (my younger dd's name is pretty unique and easily searched for), so I call them by their nicknames, Lulu and Peanut. Lulu is almost 5, Peanut is almost 3. I absolutely love being a mom! We live in Colorado, where I am working on my PhD. My dh, Jason, is a middle school orchestra teacher. We also have a boxer
I also have had 4 (or 5) losses along the way. My first pg, after ttc for almost a year, in 2002 with twins ended in losses at 8 1/2 and then 10 1/2 weeks. Luckily, shortly after we successfully conceived Lulu. Then, we decided to ttc again and were able to have Peanut two years after Lulu. I had a surprise pg in Sept. 2006 that ended in a m/c pretty early. After that m/c, we decided we were ready to starting ttc#3 in Nov. 2006. I wasn't able to get pg until May 2007. Unfortunately, we found out that I had a complete molar pg and I had to have a d&c on June 28, 2007, at 9 1/2 weeks. After reading the pathology report, I found out we had a genetically healthy little boy and then the mole. The mole took over and the baby boy wasn't able to survive. So, we now are in the one year waiting process after the first negative beta after a molar pg. This has been a long year, but now I can't believe I have just a little over 3 months left. I go through a rollercoaster of emotions from being scared to death of losing another baby to being beyond excited at the thought of a third child.
Okay, I have written a novel! Anyway, I look forward to meeting all of you!
