sorry in advance if ive posted in the wrong place, but i wasnt sure which board would be best for is question....


Ive seen Clomid mentioned alot on various TTC boards and im wondering what is it and how do you get it?

as far as i know it helps with ovulation and needs to be prescribed by your doc. never had it though so i cant be 100%
i hope one of the girls can help hun

Yea, clomid is prescribed by a doctor. If you look in the TTC section and then TTC with meds, I think there is a bunch of different info in there on the types of medication for ttc.

It helps stimulate the ovaries into making more mature eggs. I used it for 4 cycles but with no luck. I found out later that I didn't ovulate on day 14 which was probably why I never conceived with this medication. I know people that have had great results with it, so I would ask your doctor if you are curious.
