So FYI, I am one of those people that *needs* nature for my soul to feel alive. And our subdivision, while nice, is lacking in the nature aspect.
There is a drainage area with a creek and some woods in the next subdivision over that I've been trying to get in for months! They had put up a wall so I couldn't get into the wooded area, which is where they are building these houses worth $500,000 - 3 million. (Dh and I call it "the rich people section".) So anyway I finally found a way to get over there through a cul-de-sac where there is an empty lot! Yay!

I'll have to take pics sometime, it's pretty. Anyway, I walked around and....I found....dewberries!



And wildflowers.



Dh loves to eat them plain but I'm going to use some of them to make a cobbler later this week.

And here's a keychain that I ordered for myself for Mother's Day. It came in last week. The colors represent Thomas' conception month, due month and loss month. I think it came out really pretty. (oh and the silver thing in the midddle is a heart, don't know if you can tell)

DEWberries! ive never ever heard them called that! We've always called them blackberries!

The keychain in perfect. I love it and know you will feel comfort in having it close by. I bought a bracelet during my first loss and the comfort it gave me knowing I had something to focus my sorrow on while spinning the beads helped me feel like I wasn't so lost in sorrow. I guess that is hard to explain, but I am sure you know what I mean

thats a great keychain, i told DH i wanted a mothers ring with the girls birth stones and one for all of our angels, and i dont' think i'm going to get it lol.
