Hi everyone,
I haven't been on in a few days....tried to keep busy on the wkd to get my mind of things.
I was wondering how long after your miscarriage or D&C before you stopped bleeding/spotting??
And how long after before you got your next AF??
I was told to wait 3 months before TTC again but I don't know if I can wait that long?? Everyday is taking forever............and I just cannot see any light at the end of the tunnel for 3 months down the road!!! geesh!!
thx everyone.....have a good day!! Robin

I had a natural m/c during my 5th week... I bled for a little over a week and it took a little over 5 weeks for my 1st AF to show.

We didn't wait at all, but the doctor recommended waiting 1 cycle. I think longer if you had a d & c.

I had my m/c at 5 weeks and a few days. I bled for a week. Then I had my AF exactly on schedule, 28 days since I started to m/c.

We didn't wait to TTC. My doctor said to wait for a full cycle (So that would mean from first AF after m/c to the next and then TTC). He said this was strictly for dating purposes. Then they would have a better idea when I ovulated etc. But he said there would be no harm to me or baby if I started TTC sooner.

I had a d&c at 8 and half weeks, I was bleeding for about a week, also I went to work two days after I had the d&c and I think that because I did not rest enought I was bleeding more than I should of. Mt af came about 3 weeks later. I was told to wait 2 cycles.

I had a complicated D&C and had to pass the remaining tissue on my own. I think I bled for 2wks and then my AF didn't show for 54 days (from the date of my D&C) I guess that is 40 days total AFTER I stopped bleeding. We were told to wait 2 cycles. It does seem like a lifetime, but eventually, it arrived. For me, it allowed some emotional healing.

I was 5 weeks 2 days, with my first one and i bled for about 6 days then spotted for a few, i'm not sure how long my cycle was because i got pregnant. I lost that baby at 6 weeks 1 day, and i bleed for about 7-8 days and then spotted, that cycle was i think 34-35 days long. We waited that cycle and are now trying again. With my very first loss i bleed for 2 weeks, but i was 10 weeks 4 days.

I had a D&C and bled for about 1 week. AF arrived about 5 1/2 weeks after my D&C.

My doctor recommended we wait 1 cycle to TTC, and we decided to follow his recommendations...

I had a natural m/c @ 9w 5d. I bled for about 6 days after. AF showed up 27 days after I first started spotting (before the m/c) and 23 days after the m/c.

We're on CD3 and DH is already asking when we get to start "doin' it 3 times a week" (that's what one book recommended)!

I had a natural miscarriage at 5 weeks 1 day. I bled for 4 days, with the 4th day being spotting.

From the day my bleeding had stopped until the 1st day of AF was 32 days.

I wasn't told to wait, but am waiting as personal preference.

Good luck to you!!!
