Hello ladies. I have a question. Has anyone here used or know someone who has used the OV Watch (www.ovwatch.com)? I recently heard about this ovulation watch and I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with it so I can determine if it is worth the investment. Sounds interesting but I need to consult with the experts (you guys). Let me know what you think.

i looked at them when i started ttc and asked some questions on various sites i was a member of (before i found this one and stuck)
the overall replies i got were approx 30% positive 40% wouldnt waste money 30% found it didnt work and it was a waste.
very plit so i hope you can find someone with better advice. personally i decided against it and spent the extra money on things i would need for my baby and a thermometer to use with fertility friend and some opks
good luck
xx

For me it was a waste of money. It never stayed on right therefore it would not read correctly. We got the Clearblue fertility monitor shortly after and conceived DD.

I've heard about it, but, like Sarah mentioned -- there were very mixed reviews about it. I personally wouldn't get one, what could a watch possibly do that an OPK or ClearBlue Fertility monitor can't?

I've got one. It's supposed to tell you 4 days in advance of when you ovulate.

Month 1: Predicted O was CD 15. Actual O was CD 15.

Month 2: Predicted O was CD 15. Actual O was CD 13.

Month 3: Predicted O was CD 17. Actual O was CD 16.

Month 4: Predicted O was CD 16. Actual O was CD 14 (albeit very, very late on CD 14.)

So I would say it DOES predict my fertile time, but it doesn't pinpoint the exact day of ovulation for me.
