How do you REALLY feel about......

Just stop trying.... or take a break and then you will get pregnant.

For me this is the most useless advice ever. I WANT a baby why would I stop trying??? DUH!

miraculous conception? i was actually told those exact words yesterday. and some truely hurtful things about how there was something wrong with the baby, so its better than trying to raise.......i wont even go there. she said alot of the "f" word for emphasis. its sad to think that these people actually believe they are imparting words of wisdom, and when they walk away we are so much for the better. when all i could do was feel sorry for HER, to be so uneducated and ...hahaha...backwoods.

Hmm, I hear this one a LOT on JM. Usually it's people saying that the one month they weren't TTC is when they got pregnant. I just can't imagine NOT being TTC. I'm always going to notice CM now and be guessing when I am fertile. It's always going to be in the back of my mind, no matter what I do.

And for me it goes back to the whole thing...if we're not TTC, then we are probably not BDing very much. I really doubt taking a break would make me get pg.

Grrrrr! I'm emotional today, and today's response is.... "Why don't you take a break from breathing? Don't worry, when you pass out your body will take care of itself and start breathing again. But you know what, my body is not going to get pregnant by taking a break."

HOW can you take a break-unless you don't have sex at all!

And I'm with Shannon again on this one.. once you know when you should ovulate, what signs to look for, etc, there's no way that I"m ever going to not think about the fact that I'm fertile during those times. Stupid advice!!

My feeling on this one is if you stop trying then how the heck are you suppose to get pg??????? I understand people are just trying to help but sometimes saying nothing is better then saying some of these things.

This is MOST definately an annoying one...why would you STOP trying ANYTHING if that is what you WANT?!

And most of the women who say they got pregnant the one month they weren't trying mean: We really just quit temping and checking everything but we didnt do anything to prevent it...

So they probably would have gotten pregnant that month anyways...it was just their time...

The worst thing I think I've heard since my m/c was: Don't you think the m/c was kind of a sign that you aren't meant to have more children? W-T-F!?!?!?!?!?
