This is a follow up to my post a week or so ago. Glad to know I'm not the only one who's thinking about (or did) dye your hair during pregnancy. Tomorrow is my appointment. Did any of you ladies have to deal with people making comments about dying your hair while you are pregnant. There's a number of people who know about my last m/c and I'm wondering if they are going to say something about me still getting my hair done. How did you handle it? Should I just give them the finger

I basically just told people it was my life and to back off. But then, I've never been good about sugar coating anything.

I dyed my hair a few weeks ago and no one has said anything to me. I would say that if your doctor said it was fine to dye your hair then if anyone said anything to you just tell them that your doctor ok'ed it and thats who you will listen to about the subject.

The only person I got guff from was my dad, but he's like that. He wanted me to stop painting my fingernails, too.

Other than signing a little waiver or something before the place would dye my hair (saying I wouldn't sue them if something happened to my baby), I didn't really get anything from anyone.

I agree if someone says something just tell them to back off and your Dr. said it was okay.

My stylist said that it's safe to go lighter - so now is not the time to go black!
