Hi ladies, I got the report back on Weds last week and after it was confirmed she was a girl (we knew tho it was pretty clear) we were able to pick out her urn and get things looked after.
We picked a urn simular to the one we picked for ds. Elijah's is bronze with carvings and Angel's is brass with mother of pearl inlay set in urn and lid.
Now about the report I have such mixed feeling about it. Once again it showed a healthy normal baby with no cause of fetal demise evident. That was our worst fears. If there was a issue at least we would know what happened.
My Dr is stunned she has no clue what happend since I do not have medical issues. She has had only 1 other patent in her yrs of being a Dr who had 2 losses at 39 and 38 weeks back to back were no evidence of what happened could ever be found. My Dr is trying to hook us up with her so we can talk.
So in that light we have been told medically and chromasonaly we have no more risk for fetal demise then anyone else in spite of it happening 2x now. We seamed to have hit that statisic apparently. We have been medically cleared to ttc since it showed no medical issue caused baby to die.
She did say we have prolly 1 in 100 chance of ANY issue showing up do to my age( 38) but after loseing 2 babies in last 3 pg's (2 in 3) 1 in 100 sounds like pretty excellant odds !
We are choseing to trust God once again and we have peace in our hearts about ttcing again. He is our rock.
I am currently waiting on first af and 4 weeks post d&c. I stoped testing BFP about cd18. I have useing OPK's for first time and had a poss last night at 9PM and its been getting fainter since so I may be Oing but really have no clue. I am TTA till first AF so it important that I make sure not to take any chances.
My 17w loss with ds I went into labor naturally and first af took 7w 4 days and I did O before she showed up.
This time since I was induced I have no clue what will happen with Oing or even IF I will O before first af.
Once I O for sure or get AF either way I will keep you all posted.

I'm sorry you are having to go through this. I can understand how it would be easier to understand if there was something they found wrong.

I am so sorry you are going through this. I know how badly we want a reason, but the truth is there is never a good enough reason for why we had to lose our babies. I just wanted to mention you getting tested for blood clotting disorders. Usually they like to wait 6-8 weeks after giving birth before they will test you, but it is definitely worth it to give you that little extra bit of comfort in your next pregnancy. I am sorry that the results are bittersweet. It sounds like you picked out the most beautiful urn for your little girl. Good job momma!!

Yes they plan to test me for antibody/anticouagulent lupin. Both the OB and my reg DR are pretty sure its neg due to how that disorder works. They want to rule it out as its the last thing they can come up with. I go for that blood work in 2 weeks (6 weeks post d&c) after hormons regulate a bit more.
The not knowing is hard even tho I read they dont useally know about 50% of the time even with all the medical advances we have today. They are still so in the dark about so many things.
Makes me realize what a miracle it is when all works out and we have a healthy baby.

i know, it would be almost better to know that there was some reason it happened, not just that it happened to a healthy baby w/ explanation.
i hope you get a sticky baby in the near future. good luck.
